Dear Mrs Worrell and family/friends,
At this moment in time, I'm feeling alot like Bernie, short on words and heavy on the music. I could never say thank you enough for his influence and spirit, I can't put a sentence big enough or deep enough together to explain what he's done for me. I'm 22 years old. I'll forever lift his name and my children, grandchildren, etc will have knowledge of who and what this man was to music. Rest well, Bernie. Love you.

I can see you when I close my eyes. We where siting in the home of Larry Young (also known as Khalid Yasin [Abdul Aziz]; I had just finished a lesson and you had come by to pick up one of the B3's that belong to Larry. I remember your smile when you shook my hand. We would meet off and on and share the stage over the years. But what I remember most of all was your humanity. Now you are with the most high.
