RIP to the Wizard. I saw BW and the Woo Warriors a decade ago in NYC: absolutely one of the best music performances--and the most openly uplifting free-mind-and-soul experiences--ever for me. Thank you for sharing your immense gift.

Mike and Shoko Oneal extend our deepest condolences to the Worrell family. We pray that God comforts you all during this period of mourning.

With Bernie's transition, we have loss a supremely loving, peace-seeking soul who cared so much about improving life on this planet. The music he left us will forever exist as a source of healing, joy, and love for every music-loving soul the world over.

Like so many others, I will remain so grateful for having crossed his path on occasion and for having witnessed the kindness and gentleness of his soul first hand.

Thank you, Bernie. Job very well gone. Play on, brother, play on...

God and Heaven has the ultimate band of musicians with the ascension of our beloved brother Bernie and those who preceded him in passing. I will forever remember the times visiting his home in Plainfield NJ, watching him playing his Clavinet in the basement. Starting out as a funk jam, then turning into Beethoven. Those were teachings you can never get in school. Another genius has gone home and the world is a sadder place because of it. God bless Bernie, love always!
